Another drizzly night and damp morning, which has warmed up to a beautiful but sultry day. Finished my Dale Brown book yesterday so have handed it over to Maz. Bit of a change from her crime mystery novels, but something to read - whilst waiting for the washing…
After the chores we went over to the Croc Café for coffee, quiche and a toasted sandwich for me – out for lunch. Our new friends have gone out for the day, but have offered their car for tomorrow so we can properly go out for lunch, for our anniversary. How about that! So we have booked at the Tea House about 4 km down the road. We are promised superb (local wild) Barra, salad and chips for $15.90.
I have been plotting with head in the maps, while Maz is ironing that washing… If the weather stays reasonable we will still go to Cooktown on Tuesday, for a few days (otherwise will skip it for now).
