Yesterday we settled in to Cool Waters… Maz got some sun; I did some bill-able work for CASA – sitting under the awning for four hours. Maz also went for a walk to the local op shop and discovered that it is Cairns Show day, closed of course.
Met more of the dog accompanying neighbors as we are next to the exit to a path along the stream leading to a dog friendly park. Everyone goes past twice a day!!! Asked one of the dog people with a recently clipped small dog if it was done locally. Turns out there is a dog groomer 5 minutes away next to the nearby dog park… But as it turned out a bit later, she is on holidays in south America. So on the phone and Honey gets rid of her fur coat Saturday midday.
Dinner off the BBQ: flathead tails and a few pieces of orange roughy (from the freezer. Washed down with a nice Pinot Grigio…
