Pinch and punch first of the month. Pumped up my bike front tyre, a little soft.
Checked the engine and fluids whilst the bikes were out of the way. All good.
Have walked the dog and via the local servo for the weekly woman’s magazine… Found some as new, good thongs - as in flip-flops - actually two pairs. My cheapies hurt between the toes. Gave the finds a de-bug and have decided to keep the quicksilver pair; very comfy. Isn’t that exciting!
Filled up the water tank. We had used a bit until I plugged into the paid for mains pressure, direct – when the odd leaks were fixed. Flushed out the grey water tank. So we are ready to go again. We are still on the original fill of the 9KG LPG tank so it must be a bit low as we use that for 95% of the cooking and kettle and percolator boiling – and off grid hot water. But will run it out to see how long it will last (we have a 4.5KG spare bottle) And will get 100% when it is eventually refilled!
So now it is reading and relaxing time again – maybe followed by a dip in the pool as it is warming up properly. Breeze keeping it very comfortable outside in a singlet!!!
Have one bottle of red in the place to wash down the eye fillets tonight.
Tomorrow it’s off to Daintree.
Now we have to hope that the US sorts out its debt problem tomorrow so that our super’ doesn’t get smacked down again ###
