More liquid sunshine than we need (which is none!). And this is the dry season. They get the rest of the 5m of rain later… Even the crocs are staying in the water.
Bit of excitement tho.
Huge rescue helicopter (could not identify type) popped into the oval from under the low cloud cover. Left before I could get there with a camera. Then came back 20-30 minutes later. Landed again for about 2 minutes – and was gone before I got there… Turns out some intrepid 4WD’ers headed up the “CREB track” in spite of being warned not to… due conditions (all the liquid sunshine), got stuck, called for help and were lifted out – vehicle of course is still there. Happens all the time, I’m told!!!
So we are under cover reading, and online shopping – for a shade wall, or maybe a rainproof wall… Sunbuster in Caboolture looks good. Our new friend Sandy’s birthday today so gave her a card and best wishes. She is off to golf – with wellingtons and umbrella. I still don’t get it with golfers… it is regularly pissing down (but still warm!)
