Well woke up after a better nights sleep – notwithstanding the Top End Pub, right over the road having live, loud, but mediocre band til midnight!!!
But it’s a Bran Nue Dae today. Took Honey for a constitutional… Breakfast – real coffee (the Aldi $15 stainless steel percolator is fabulous).
Setup the small triangular shade sale ($20 at Bunnings) so I have some morning shade. The bus is parked back to true north give or take a few degrees. So provides shade in the afternoon. So with the parts ordered for the awning, I am over the aggravation, presumably blood pressure is down again. Didn’t bring a BP machine with me!!!
So all went for a walk toward the wharf to the local market fresh fruit, preserves take-away food – very laid back. Honey had a real social outing, sniffing about a dozen new acquaintances, as one does if one is a dog.
Moved the satellite dish a metre and started again. It works. Not going to touch anything!!! Front TV is using the composite output and the bedroom TV HDMI. Will be able to watch the footy this arvo; and hopefully Swans vs Saints tomorrow. The front TV swings out through the window so can sit outside to view!
The Suns Vs Crows is on. Maz is chasing the sun: I am enjoying the shade. Wind is keeping her cool; and making me a bit too cool.
Had a call from Des advising about a 4 day slip on their schedule. Reckon we could cross paths about Yepoon on about 13 Sep. We’ll see! And a call from Ron advising mail from the hospital, read it out; confirming my appointment on 23rd Sep – so far so good, but TPCH still has a month to stuff it up…
My turn to cook tonight and its Woolys 3 pepper chicken schnitzel (at least they are supposed to be chicken…)
