to feel quite relaxed, but I am actually a bit sore across the pectorals from trying to swim of the twinge of the other day. Better stick to walking. Not too much tho. We have decided to rent-a-bomb for a few days to explore without the bus. It is a bit big to park around the place. And I have done just shy of 4000km in the last 10 days.
About 10AM the guy who suggested the local dog clipper brought another couple around who needed a haircut for their shitzu. They also have a long hair golden retriever. Lo and behold we know them Bob and Ros from Merimbula… ( Bob has known Pete G of decades and I have come across him many times in Canberra when we have both camped at Pete and Wendy's). So Munch the shitzu is booked for 1300 ish… Bob & Ros are going north tomorrow…
Carole from Belfast did a fine job with honey – clip was and blow-dry.
With that out of the way I got serious with the car hire. Hard work; the best deals – no cars available… Gave up made a decision and so we have an older… Corolla for a week. Tomorrow local exploration, then Port Douglas- Daintree day trips. Probably…
