Well: Today it’s one calendar month since we left Mulwala. A few km short of 4000 and a little over $1000 in fuel… and closing on $1000 in park fees… so that’s only $500 a week… extra…
Today tho’ may be a cheap day. We are invited to Cape Tribulation with Des and Sandra, Honey too as this will be a longish day.
Set out at 0800 crossed the ferry and ambled through the lookouts and beaches to Cape tribulation. Sandra was booked for jungle surfing – a series of 5 flying foxes through the treetops. We had a bite to eat at Breakaway and she was whisked off.
Des Maz Hone and I went north again past Cape Trib. for a few km on the dirt road leading to the Bloomfield Track. Not very interesting –same jungle worse road – so we turned around to find more walks and beaches. Wait ‘til you see the pix!
Collected Sandra who had ha a great time and her adrenalin had had a chance to subside by then… Ambled back over the ferry and detoured to Mossman to re-supply. Home at 1700, and all pooped. Honey too, who had been out and about at all but the National Park spots.
