Biggish sleep in for Maz and me this morning. Tony and I demolished most of a bottle of good Scotch and the ladies, the wine...
Serious packing up and I need to pickup my jack from the welder - and some serious zinc primer for the bare metal. It works a treat. Just fits under the body with the new 10x50mm tongue/hook a solid fit into the bottom of the body frame (a rolled hollow section about 55x20 inside and 4-5mm wall thickness - solid). Reckon I could jack a wheel off the ground -but that would probably not do the body-chassis rubber mounts any good!
A slowish relaxing day. Tony collects the mails and basic supplies, Helen is into the washing... and the rain, or as the locals suggest, 'mizzle' (mist/drizzle) is back...
Dinner is booked at the RSL for six, Tony, Helen, Des and Sandra and us. It's is a good feed, and the designated drivers are called on after lots of story telling. Turns out Des and Tony have common friends/acquaintances from the past...
Excellent last night before moving on...
