We decided on a third day... and then discovered the stay for six get one free, so we are paid up for the week. (Until the 11th) So have moved the bus around a little and put out the awnings properly - between gusts. Well tied down as it is quite windy, 20-25kph gusting 30 occasionally. Oh, and 15C overnight 25-26 during the day. Humidity about 50-60%. Wonderful!
Done some washing today and reading, and emailed my suspicions about the satellite system errors (reaching elevation stops) although it is behaving perfectly on Optus C1/D3, the VAST transponder satellite.Next walk around town I will have to turn on the iPhone Nike tracker. Reckon its about 5km we have been doing. Plan to go exploring by car tomorrow.
We have been keeping in touch with Helen and Alan on their first expedition north. If they made Charters Towers last night... they are about 150+km inland, and north of us by now.
