Had an interesting time on Gloucester Cape. Today we are heading to Cannonvale, Airlie Beach etc, then if we can find a spot Conway Beach. We have been advised to call - and book.So it's a gentle cruise through the valleys and cane fields, eventually to Cannonvale - where the shopping centre has great access and parking for Woolies AND Woolies Fuel at a good price. We are stocked up again and even with a 4 pack ice-cream for desert. Been 5+ weeks since we had a desert (except for the shared cheesecake at the Tree House, Daintree).
Then we cruised around Airlie Beach, and the constantly forecast showers finally caught up with us! The Airlie area is busy, chockers with expensive houses, hotels - and caravan parks, oh and BOATS!

We got into Conway Beach without trouble... aside from the $37 a night... When the showers clear we will head off to the beach.
It is blowing! But the showers have moved on. The beach faces south, maybe southeast so the wind off the water is refreshing - and strong.![]() ![]() |
