22nd August: exploring south of Yeppoon

Yesterday was a bit miserable and damp, but we did get out for a walk around. Today has turned out sunny - with the slight threat of a shower, so we are off exploring - by car.
<< The bus is camped at the purple drop pin at Cooee Bay, south of Yeppoon, so we will try to hug the coast to Emu Point.

Looking back into Cooee Bay
East, is the centre of Cooee Bay and some beach then Wreck point which is quite high giving a view all around , including towards Yeppoon proper.

Next Lammermoor then Rosslyn where the boat harbour and Keppel Ferry terminal is located.

Much further south past Mulambin is Emu Park, a busy little community with IGA 5 hairdressers, 5 coffee shops etc... A quiet and pretty corner.

Part of defunct Aquarium complex (I think) Cool structure!!! at Emu Park
On the way back to Yeppoon we got a call from the Coffee Club, Macadamia Coffee syrup ordered the other day is in!!! What a treat for me! So we decided to stock up at Coles whilst we were there for a fuel voucher as the Coles Express servo is at Yeppoon - and the bus is nearly empty.
