Still here in far north WA... still really hot 40C top (30 at 8AM and back to 30 at 6PM).
No parts today. Rang the PO at 9 this morning and was advised the AAE stuff arrives at midnight... and ours hadn't... and there was no way it would get from Sydney to here from Wed to Friday, I think the young lady stiffled a laugh... So we have paid for another 3 nights...
Will get a lift (taxi) over the River tomorrow and shop a little... running out of food...
Our neighbour Ian went fishing today. Had to launch by 7AM. Didn't tell him that the tour boat would be on the ramp for maintenance to 4PM, so he spent 9 hours in Geike Gorge and almost caught a Barra... catfish don't count... Glad I didn't go as invited (mainly due to hoping for parts) as the heat would have killed me!
My blood pressure is at an all time low as it is close to boiling for half the day... I need the salt in beer, I reckon... and we have a few more days supply. FC is dry - no grog, no take-away so the drink-in bar here is it!
So here we stay a while longer...
