The Swan Valley is of course famous for wineries and eateries... A bit of a letdown that many/most places are closed Mondays, some Tuesdays, and a few all weekdays... Anyway we have a few recommendations from the experts (the Kennedy girls). Had a look at Sandalford detoured around the huge Whiteman Park, and eventually found Talijancich - which was open! Closed Tuesdays! We tried some stuff and actually purchased a couple of bottles of fortified, a Verdelho Liqueur and another White blend Liqueur. Seriously delicious and a bit different. After that we though we better find somewhere to stop for the night.

Swan Valley Tourist Park is the only dog friendly - and we couldn't find a quiet, out of the way corner to sneak into. even get a member and senior discount!!!
Tomorrow we will probably head up Northam or Toodyay way...
