The mission for the day is a baby shower at Ali's parents place at Marmion, men excluded - except for Max and his cooking... After Ali has headed off to help get organised, and Maz is dressing up - makeup and all. Not many occasions in the last three + months.
After Maz was delivered Owen and I headed for the pub, some afternoon live music, catching up with a friend of O's, and a beer or two. At an appropriate time late in the PM we are allowed to "after baby shower" gathering... A few of Ali's lovely friends are still there and one of Sharon's, who had helped Maz feel at home. Seems like a good time had by all.
The grandchild, has received heaps of wonderful and useful things. What a generous bunch. Owen and I had lunched so a top up with Max's tasty treats, we are all done for the day.
