No incriminating pix from Max's Party yesterday, well not yet!Today we drove across to the Bay to follow The Esplanade and coastal roads to Point Nepean, the Eastern side of the Port Philip Bay Heads. Quick shop at Mornington, including spare keys for the Suzuki from Mr Minute...
The last bit of the treck to Pt Nepean is a big walk. We went about 1.5 km (about halfway) in our sandals and no hats or water and thought better of it and went back to the gunners house...As usual, when by the water fish and chips on the beach sounded like a good idea. Portsea packed, Sorrento packed. we ended up at Rye with local caught Whiting and light beer.
Bailed out of the really busy, slow coastal traffic and crossed to the freeway for the return. 8 til 3 has worn us out.Tomorrow we will head SE to Western Port. I suppose stopping at Tyabb (Airfield) is unavoidable.
No idea where we will end up tomorrow...
