Well it was worth having the heater on - all night. Still had to de-ice a bit. And so up the boring Newell Highway... done that quite a few times! Nothing worth reporting - except at Narrabri. Stopped for lunch in the park by the river and inspected the newish but out-of-service toilet dump point. We could have used it.
Refuelled at Boggabilla ( just NSW) and went through - or around - Goondiwindi to a free camp 45km north 'Monte Cristo Parking area" - got to be the Camp of Monte Cristo, surely!
Will be a cold 0-1 night tonight, no heating without firing up the generator - so rug up.
