A gentle day today. Only 340km... but it's 35 km back inland and around Shoalwater Bay Military Area... so we won't see the water for 300km or so. Stopped at Marlborough to make coffee. There are NO free camps close to Mackay so we have booked on the phone for the Mackay Marine Tourist Park (Big4 dog friendly). Arrived about 1400 been shopping in the Vitara (beer... and food).Went to visit the satellite man and confirm first thing tomorrow morning. All good - if he can fix the problem. I love his 'office' surrounded by circuit boards and stuff... Think the main game is fixing big, expensive TVs...
Also detoured to see the water, the ocean - well the Whitsundays... out to the harbour. Here are a few pix. I think the black thing is a dhow. Is that how to spell it? There is a big village of apartments and lots of expensive boats - and lots of mine cars...Then big, really long showers. Fabulous The bus one is good but...!!!
