What a shit of a day is forecast, red hot (42) crosswind with a bit of headwind... followed by thunderstorms! So we are off at a good pace - bus temps and fuel notwithstanding! Mundrabilla is reputed to have the cheapest fuel in these parts! I guess $1.90 per litre does it. Decide to keep the 60 (well really 57) litres in the cans...With little event we make it to South Australia - for which we were bound, of course. The 'new' highway follows the coast for 100 or so KM with various camps/parks overlooking the cliffs of the Great Australian Bite. We stop at a few and are nearly blown off said cliffs by the 40+ degrees and 20-30kt northerly... well NNE'ly. We decide to keep going afer appreciating the views...

We have changed time zones. We ignored the South eastern WA zone change of 45 minutes ahead of Perth???? So now we feel like it is approaching 1830 - where from this morning's perspective it is 1600!!! Either way I am pooped and the passengers are pooped, So we will find a stop to stop. A shower is first order where-ever.

| could park right up to the edge here. Looked to be about 500 feet to the bottom |
PS: Of course we didn't cover 7540KM yesterday more like 740... but 1400KM over two stinking hot cross-windy days is plenty...
